Tuesday, July 19th at 7:00PM – Special fundraising concert with Summer Harmony, an all men’s choir. Free will offering.
Friday, July 16th at 9:00PM – join us for Movie Night at the upper pavilion! Featured movie will be voted on before it is shown. Choose between The End of the Spear and The Sword in the Stone. .
CHANGE IN THE WATER AEROBICS SESSIONS: The sessions will start Monday, July 11th from 6:15 to 7:00 PM until August 31st every Monday and Wednesday. Cost is now $30 (instead of $60) for the whole session or $5 per session for walk ins. Bring your noodles and water weights. If you don’t have water weights, bring two one gallon jugs of water.
If you have not returned your donation towards the Allentown Band Concert (featuring Disney Classics) to be held on August 9th at 7:00 PM here in the park, make sure you submit it by July 18th to Lenore Scanlin, 41 Waldheim Park, Allentown PA 18103.
If you are interested, the park will be serving up a spaghetti dinner complete with fixings at 5:00 PM the night of the concert. Cost is $7.00 per person.
Saturday, July 23rd from 9:00 AM to 4:00PM at New Bethany EC Church, 224 N 6th St, Allentown will be hosting a one day retreat featuring Rev. Dr. Gary Kuehner on “Being a First Century Church in a 21st Century World.” Lunch and light refreshments will be served. Bring your Bible and a notebook. ALL ARE WELCOME! Residents and Friends:
As of 3:30 pm Saturday 9th of July, Phase 2 of the upgrade to the sound system at the Tabernacle was completed. The electronic improvements are now fully operational. Only minor cosmetic issues remain and we hope to have them completed by the end of August.
Let me first express appreciation to the wives of the Team members. Their love, understanding and support has been essential.
