WELCOME
to the official website of
E.C. Waldheim Park!

Oh what a night! During the night, on Monday, March 16 a great storm arose and blew thought our beloved "home in the woods" leaving a trail of devastation. The winds and rain were fierce!
We are saddened to report our beloved children's playground was destroyed. While a committee has been formed to explore ways to bring this area back to life, our insurance will not cover the cost to bring about the necessary full rebuild with new equipment.
Not only was our children's playground destroyed, but several cottage owners experienced some extreme damage as well. More than ten very large trees were uprooted or sheared off close to their tops. Unfortunately, tree removal and debris clean-up expenses are not covered at all.
It is an inundating task!
We pray our friends will consider a donation to assist with the cost of clean up and rebuilding our playground to make a safe, happy place for all to enjoy again.
We are very pleased to say that the Lord spared all our cottage owners who reside here during the winter. There was NO loss of life and for that we are grateful!
Unto Him who is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all that we could ever ask or even imagine, unto Him be all the glory & the praise! Praise be to our Lord & Saviour, Jesus Christ. THANK YOU
