What brings you to serve at Waldheim? What is your history with Waldheim and/or the EC denomination?: I became a member of Seibert EC Church as a teenager and transferred my membership to Christ EC Church in 2013. I am a member of St. Matthew's EC Church in Emmaus.  I grew up at Waldheim but purchased my first very own cottage in 2006. I became involved in the Civic Association and served as President to the Civic from 2008-2012. I felt called to serve on the Board of Directors and was elected in 2010. A few years later, I was in charge of the Reservations for the park and in 2012 I became vice-president of the Board. I became president of the Board in the Spring of 2014 and served until 2022.

What Waldheim Committee are you currently on/are you in charge of? I currently serve as chair for the annual Allentown Band Concert.

What is your favorite thing to do on a free day/what hobby do you enjoy? The biggest blessing is to be a part of my granddaughters' lives on a daily basis. When they go home, you may find me at my sewing machine or embroidery machine creating.

Tell one summer and/or Waldheim memory: As a kid, we would come swimming at the pool and as we got older, our youth group had many summer activities here and then, on occasion, we would sleep at my cousin's cottage. When my sister purchased a cottage here, I spent lots of time hanging out with her during the summer. Now that I own a cottage, I love to set up my sewing machine on the front porch and make little projects while listening to the chirping of nature. In the evenings, I enjoy sitting out back, reading and watching the deer and reflecting on how creative God was to make all these creatures the way He did.

What is one unique thing about you that you'd like to share? Or something you think you are really good at? When I chose the name of my cottage, I had in mind the phrase "Whispers of Love" in my favorite hymn, Blessed Assurance.
