Attention Residents: Illegal Dumping

The Allentown Police Department confirmed that non-residents placing trash in our dumpsters are considered to be doing illegal dumping. If you observe anyone who is dumping in the park illegally, please take down the driver's licence plate number, and the make and model of the vehicle, as well as the time and location where you observed the incident. It is also helpful if you can take a photo of the vehicle and/or the incident.

If you are reporting it immediately you may call 911 and speak to an operator. The operator will dispatch an officer to the scene. If you are reporting after the fact, please call 610-797-1447 between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., or 1:30 and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

The person who observed the violation must be the one to make the call.
